| Review: I was a big fan of the old show Dark Shadows. I love old movies, bloopers and all. I liked the film House of Dark Shadows and Night lesser extent Dark Shadows. I like the Dark Shadows revival series in 1991. Version Burton / Johnny Depp this again some good elements in it, such as costumes, background music and special effects, but the problem here is in writing. The screenplay is based more on games too jokes, some funny and some pretty lame. The main character is basically merge here except Maggie Evans in Victoria Winters, Willie Loomis plays and actors do a better job with more character than the revival in 1991, the select ( or directed) to play as a half-wit. (Factor which I liked about rebirth). Music of the 1970s, cars cars, clothes and hairstyles are spot-on and more comfortable feeling 1970 piece. The highlight is all the special effects and a revelation of the plot is very very administration that is done here (Unintended) funny. In all, I would say that this film may appeal more to those who have not seen the original of this than their fans. I do not hate this film, I just do not like. |
